ਫਰਮਾ:s. f An imperative of {{v. n.Ṭikṉá

1. s. m. f}} (ਫਰਮਾ:M) A jewel set in a ring
2. cess levied by the Nawabs of Bahawal-pur of two rupees on each ਫਰਮਾ:path of grain inthe crop after the Government share hadbeen deducted. It is said to have originated thus: a concubine of a former Nawablost a valuable jewel from a ring, toreimburse the loss of which he imposedthe cess. Once imposed, it was collectedregularly until abolished by Sawan Mal'sgovernment.
